During long time span of thirty years, the concept in my work has gradually developed from solitude of my working hours, intimacy between human and objects, my immediate urban humanized surroundings with elements from structural spaces that we use every day, to urbanization, disruption and changing relations between humans.
My early works dealt with closed spaces, and the entire things which are being enclosed in that atmosphere, the inadequate areas one has to cope with while living a city life, and a human spending time in it. After few years the objective shapes stretched comfortably in my works with lot of breathing space. In my paintings, these appearances release themselves from their mediocre utilitarian context to convert into pure pictorial forms partly disappearing in the translucent or opaque atmosphere. Occasionally marked with subtle traces of shadows and a hint of human existence, the material converts itself into the living shape within different sights to signify the vagueness and mysteries of human life. The semi-abstract forms and bold lines blur into the background and become visible again to create the feeling of suspension between real and surreal, a dream and the actuality.

My style resembles the Indian style and techniques. By and large, line work and simplicity in flat color tones find a prominent place in Indian style, and these peculiarities have left a deep and indelible impression on my mind. As a result, they occupy a significant and prominent place in my work. Every color has its own tonal rhythm and textural significance. I generally make optimal use of their sanctity and relevance in rendering visual perspectives and tranquility to my creations, and I try to adapt novelty and modernism along with thematic significance in my endeavors. The thought process is generally centered around these subtle nuances in my endeavors.
My style is centered around these nuances in my endeavors. Indian culture and heritage have a deep impact on my paintings and drawings. They are the backbone of my creations. Flowers and their aroma and fragrance have a deep and everlasting impact on Indian culture. My themes generally incorporate these notable peculiarities. Through various ingredients, young children are innocent and render happiness and joy to all. Similar to varied flowers and their aromatic fragrance, I use my skills and technique to cover these important aspects, yielding joy, pleasure, and tranquility to all in my vivid works.
My present series of works incorporates young themes centered around children and peculiarities of nature and other significant ingredients, rendering ample happiness and joy to all in vivid arenas and perspectives. I hope to adorn my creations with these visual elements and shall make future endeavors eternal, pleasant, and tranquil, which will in turn render divine happiness and pleasure to all.
Naval Kishore brings to his audience the enigmatic female form and presents it with great sophistication, lucidity and sensuality. His women are curvaceous, vibrant and immersed in a world of their own. The singular female forms in his works take center stage drawing the viewer into a myriad of feelings, expressions, colors, moods and rasas. The strength of Nawal Kishore’s images lies not just in the perfect use of color on the figures but also of his ability to create a lighting effect around his figures surprisingly through the use of colors such as grey.
Naval Kishore has quite mastered the technique of using grey to add light and depth to his works. One needs to see it to believe it. His figures also draw strength and character from his use of cubism. The introduction of cubism may sometimes come across as almost sudden but the never does the artist allow it to consume the adorable curves of his muse, the woman. The effect he achieves can only be called profound and dramatic. His canvases are not just soaked in color and texture, but carry a plethora of intricacy woven into it thread by thread. Kishore’s attention to detail is apparent in every square inch of the canvas. The odd balance he achieves among colors, contours and theme is a hallmark of his confidence and love for art.
Dipti Bondre, born in 1972, is a distinguished artist with an extensive educational background. She completed her BFA in Drawing and Painting from Sir J.J School of Fine Art, Mumbai (1987-92), followed by a Diploma in Ceramics/Pottery from Sophia Polytechnic, Mumbai (1995). She furthered her studies with an MFA in Computer Graphics from the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing, Pune (1995-96), and pursued additional artistic education with an MFA in Diploma Structure and Composition at The Arts Students League of New York, New York (2010). In 2015, she completed a Diploma in Serigraphy from ScuolaInternazionale di Grafica, Venice.
Her solo exhibitions include Turkey: Crossroads of the World at Gallery Art & Soul, Mumbai (2016), Ode to Bosphorus: Glimpses of Istanbul through Yantras at Gallery Art Positive and the Turkish Embassy in New Delhi (2015), Rasa at The Monalisa Kalagram, Pune (2015), The Third Dimension at Gallery Art & Soul, Mumbai (2011), White Noise in Upper Westchester, New York (2010), Tianu World at Tianu: The Furniture Company, Mumbai (2010), and Epiphany at Gallery Art & Soul, Mumbai (2009). Her awards and accomplishments are numerous. In 2019, she was granted a patent for her invention, “Image that changes with light” (Patent number 310677). She was awarded residencies at l’Alliance Française Paris Ile-de-France, Paris (2016), ScuolaInternazionale Di Grafica, Venice (2015), and Takt Art Residency, Berlin (2013). In 2010, she received a full scholarship for the VytlacilValcav Residency at The Art Students League of New York. Earlier in her career, she was recognized for innovative painting at the Monsoon Show, Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai (1992) and was nominated among the top ten paintings for the Maharashtra State Art Award, Mumbai (1990).
Jude Gabriel is a multidisciplinary visual artist and photographer who rejects traditional conventions and societal expectations. In abstract painting, he uses color, texture, and form to evoke emotions and provoke introspection. His cyanotype printmaking experiments with light and exposure, creating ethereal images, while his mixed media works fuse diverse elements to challenge traditional composition and narrative. Photography, for Jude, is not merely a means of capturing reality, but a tool for deconstructing it, manipulating perspective and composition to create images that resist easy categorization. By pushing the boundaries of conventional art, Jude Gabriel invites viewers to embrace the ambiguity of perception and celebrate the endless possibilities of creative expression.
